When you use the Open command of most software, an explorer window allows you to locate the file to be opened on your computer. However, the files are sorted by name by default. To quickly find a recently edited file, you can sort them by date.
1-Right-click on an empty space in the window.
2-Click Sort By, and then click Date or Modify next to the folder where you are.
3-The files are now sorted by date, the most recent first.
