Can not get hold of your Windows key? Yet, if you have to reinstall it due to problems, you absolutely need it. Thanks to a simple script and without installing software, here is how to recover the product key of your Windows.
1-Open the notebook by clicking its shortcut on the Start menu.
2-Copy the following code.
3-Click the File menu, and then click Save As.
4-Pull down the Type list and select the All files (*. *) Option.
5-Give the following script a name for the .vbs extension, for example, WindowsWindows.vbs.
6-Choose where to save the file, for example on the desktop for simplicity and click Save.
7-Close the notebook. To know your product key, simply double-click on the KeyWindows.vbs file on your desktop.
8-The Windows product key is displayed on the screen. Write it down. You can also copy it with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C and then paste it into a document with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V.
