Transfer a Windows license to another computer

/! \ If you have an OEM license, such as that provided when purchasing a computer for example, the transfer of this type of license is not allowed by Microsoft because it is assigned to the hardware and not To the user. You will therefore be illegal if you do this with an OEM license.
First, we will uninstall the product key on the computer where we want to remove the license.
Start the command prompt as an administrator:

At the command prompt, type "slmgr / dlv" and then press the "Enter" key.
After a few seconds, a window will appear with the detailed information of the license recorded on the computer:

slmgr /dlv

Leave this window visible and type "slmgr / upk XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX" (Replace the Xs with the activation ID of your license) at the always open command prompt:

slmgr /upk

Click the "Enter" button. A message stating that the license has been uninstalled will appear:

slmgr /upk
