Increase the range of your WiFi with a repeater

Do you use the wireless network in your box to connect to the Internet but you are having trouble receiving the signal in some places in your home? To increase the range of your wireless network, you can use a repeater.

By placing this repeater at the limit of the wireless network in your box, you can create an extension in the form of a second Wifi network.

Your computer, which could not connect to the wireless network in your box, will be able to connect to the wireless network of the router, itself connected to the wireless network of your box, itself connected to the Internet.

In a previous folder, we saw how to transform a wireless router into a WiFi repeater through the use of the DD-WRT firmware. This technical operation is not necessarily within the reach of all and since then, many autonomous wireless repeaters have invaded the market. Here's how to set up such a repeater to improve your WiFi coverage.
