Save your account settings - Outlook 2013

You want to save the settings of your e-mail accounts such as your usernames and passwords, the addresses of the POP, IMAP and SMTP servers and their parameters? Outlook 2013 does not offer tools for this but it is possible to go through the registry to retrieve this information and put it in a safe place. You will be able to recover them in the event of a problem or for an installation on another computer for example.
1-Click the Start button. Enter the regedit command and press Enter.



2-In the Registry Editor window that opens, drop the HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Office, 15.0, Outlook, Profiles, Outlook key.



3-Click the File menu, and then click Export.



4-Name your backup and choose a location on your hard drive. Finally, click Save.



5-The day you need to re-import your e-mail accounts and your settings in Outlook 2013, you just have to double click on the save file in REG format and validate by Yes.
