Before installing a hardware driver, you can verify that the version installed on your computer is not newer. Device Manager will let you know the versions of the drivers installed on your computer.
1-Click the Start button. Right-click Computer and click Manage.

2-Click Device Manager.

3-Open the section corresponding to the hardware whose driver version you want to know. Right-click it and click Properties.

4-Open the Driver tab.

5-The driver version line then gives you the desired information. Click OK.
