Disable NVIDIA Driver Routing - Windows All Versions

The latest graphics card drivers with an NVIDIA chip automatically relay information about your system to the giant. Officially, NVIDIA says it uses this telemetry to improve its drivers and the experience of its users. Since everything is encrypted, there is no way of knowing what is actually sent. Since the driver interface does not allow you to easily disable this option, you will have to dive into the scheduled tasks, registry and Windows services.

-In the search box, type Scheduler.

-Click Task Scheduler.

-Click the Task Scheduler Library folder in the window that opens.

-Then delete the NvTmMon, NvTmRep, and NvTmRepOnLogon tasks. To do this, select them and click the Delete button.

-Confirm the operation and close the task scheduler.

-In the search field, enter the services.msc command and press Enter.

-If you are not using an NVIDIA wireless controller, stop the NVIDIA Wireless Controller Service. Double click on it and click the Stop button.

-Next, expand the Startup Type list and select the Disabled option. Confirm with OK and close the services window.

-Then enter the regedit command in the search field and press Enter.

-Unpack the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Run key.

-If you do not use the ShadowPlay feature to video-record your game sessions, right-click the ShadowPlay value and click Delete. Confirm the operation and close the Registry Editor.
