Windows 10 provides the default search box in the taskbar, which is coupled to the Cortana voice assistant. If you think these features are useless (it is your right), you can prevent their display. Just click in the search field, and then go to the small toothed wheel on the left of the screen. Cortana in the field, set the slider to Off. finally click with the right mouse button on the taskbar, and then visit the Cortana function and uncheck the Show the search area.
