Disable automatic performance tests (WinSAT.exe) - all Windows versions

It has happened that suddenly the Aero interface is disabled and your computer slows sharply for a few minutes while rotating the bottom fans? Periodically, Windows launches WinSAT service that assesses the overall performance of your computer by testing intensely using your processor, memory and hard disks. You can disable this automatic task to not be embarrassed.
1-In the Search field of the taskbar, type the taskschd.msc command and press Enter.



2-Unroll the elements Task Scheduler (Local), Scheduler Library, Microsoft, Windows, Maintenance.


3-Click the right mouse button on the WinSAT task and click Disable.


4-You can close the task scheduler. Winstat will not be launched automatically.
